Serving the Kempsey community and surrounds, Kempsey McElhone Swimming Complex offers seasonal aquatic experiences and inclusive programs for all ages and abilities.

Our vibrant, family-friendly facility features a wide range of heated pools — including a 50m pool, a 25m pool with lift and stair access, a toddler pool, and a family pool — making it the perfect destination for swimming, relaxing, or learning water safety skills.

Surrounded by spacious green areas and sheltered seating with tables, it’s an ideal spot for outdoor fun, casual gatherings, and community connection.

Accessible amenities such as toilets and change rooms ensure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Plus, visitors can enjoy tasty treats and refreshments from The Wriggly Bean kiosk, adding extra delight to their poolside experience.

Programs we offer:

Under the L+R Group's WaterSchool Squad Program, we have different squads designed to cater to the varying needs and abilities of our athletes and align with Swimming Australia Swimming Framework. Here's an overview of what is currently on offer::
- Foundation Squad
  The Foundation Squad is specifically designed for athletes at the foundation level. It focuses on building fundamental swimming skills, enhancing technique, and developing a strong base for future growth. This is a 45 minute swimming session and is limited to 16 swimmers per session.

At Kempsey WaterSchool Learn to Swim, we currently offer offer the following programs::
- Stroke Correction
- Infants Aquatics for infants aged six (6) months to three (3) years.
- Learn to Swim levels for children aged three (3) years and above.
