Seamless and trusted local government partner

At L+R Group, we believe that great facilities begin with great responsibility.

About us

L+R Group is a proudly community-minded organisation with over a decade-long track record of excellence in facility management. Since 2010, we’ve worked alongside councils, schools and local organisations to provide turnkey solutions that balance operational precision with community impact.

Our integrated model spans six core services: Advisory Services, Water School, Community Activities, Wriggly Bean, Health + Wellness Solutions and Training Hub. Each offering is underpinned by our operational pillars and a deep understanding of what makes local facilities thrive. From strategic guidance to on-the-ground delivery, we’re trusted to support healthy, active communities through sustainable, well-run venues.

Our Pillars

Our Pillars capture the essence of who we are and what we stand for — every day. They define our purpose, guide our decisions, and shape the way we operate. These principles form the foundation of our business, helping us stay true to our mission and consistently deliver facilities communities love.

Our Operational Pillars

L+R Group’s operational pillars represent the foundation of our daily service delivery. They reflect the standards we uphold across every site, program, and customer interaction. These five principles ensure we create safe, professional, and engaging spaces that meet the needs of the communities we serve.

  • The safety of every individual in our care is paramount.

    • Are we actively supervising patrons at all times?

    • Are hazards and risks being identified, addressed, and reported appropriately?

  • A hygienic environment is essential for health, comfort, and community confidence.

    • Is the facility consistently clean and well-maintained?

    • Are all spaces presenting to a high standard, every day?

  • Professionalism starts with a positive attitude.

    • Are we approachable and respectful in every interaction?

    • Are staff engaging warmly with patrons while maintaining professionalism?

  • Item Structure and efficiency are key to operational excellence.

    • Is the facility well-presented and clearly signed?

    • Are systems in place to ensure smooth, predictable operations?

  • We believe in the power of movement and connection.

    • Are our programs inclusive, engaging, and well-attended?

    • Are we inspiring participation across all age groups and abilities?

Our Management Pillars

Our management pillars define how we lead — as individuals, as teams, and as an organisation. These four principles shape the leadership culture of L+R Group and guide how we support people, make decisions, and foster trust with our partners and communities.

We believe strong leadership creates high-performing teams and environments where people thrive.

  • Empowering others to grow, succeed, and feel valued.

    • Are we identifying where support is needed and acting early?

    • Are we equipping our team members with the training and encouragement they need?

  • Acting with honesty, accountability, and ethical responsibility.

    • Are we doing the right thing — even when no one is watching?

    • Are we leading with consistency, fairness, and transparency?

  • Creating open, respectful, and effective dialogue at every level.

    • Are we actively listening and sharing information clearly?

    • Are we facilitating teamwork through honest, two-way communication?attitude.

    • Are we approachable and respectful in every interaction?

    • Are staff engaging warmly with patrons while maintaining professionalism?

  • Valuing people and perspectives equally.

    • Are we treating staff and patrons with kindness, dignity, and courtesy?

    • Are we acknowledging contributions and encouraging mutual respect?

Our Corporate Pillars

Our Corporate Pillars are more than policies on paper; they are embedded practices that shape our actions, influence our decisions, and reflect our unwavering commitment to doing the right thing.

Rather than chasing short-term gains, we prioritise trust, compliance, and meaningful, measurable impact. These pillars uphold our standards of excellence and guide the way we lead in facility management — with safety, transparency, innovation, and a community-first mindset at the core.

Leisure and Recreation Group completely transformed the Cowra Aquatic Centre in their first year of operation — delivering consistent, professional services and building an inclusive, motivated aquatic community.

This past season, they’ve continued to grow, offering a diverse range of programs and activities for our community. I just wanted to pass on my thanks for yet another fantastic season. I’m truly grateful for the ease with which you manage any issues at the centre and for the consistently high standard of service and facilities you provide to our community.”
