Getting Started as a New Member

Follow these simple steps to set up your account and get started:

  1. Download the Active L+R app
    (Available on the App Store and Google Play)

  2. Tap Sign Up and enter your details.

  3. Select your facility (e.g., Kempsey McElhone Swimming Complex)

  4. Add all family members

That’s it, you’re ready to go!

ACTIVE L+R App – FAQs

Accounts + Access

  • Yes. Please see a staff member to activate access for additional family members.

  • Each family member receives a digital access card in the app to scan for attendance. If needed, we can provide a physical membership card.

  • Yes. Provide the relative’s email address to a staff member so we can activate their access. This will allow them to log in and view your account.

Lessons + Programs

  • In the app, select Book a Lesson. Answer the level questions to be allocated to the correct level, then view available classes to book.

  • Formal assessments are conducted at the end of each school term. Feedback is provided via the app.

  • Yes. If you mark your absence in the app before your lesson starts, you can book a make-up lesson within 30 days of the missed class.

  • Please contact or visit a staff member at the facility to request cancellation. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as the cancellation is processed.

  • Group Fitness covers casual activities such as squad training, water exercise, and clinics, which can be booked through the app.

Memberships

  • Please contact or visit a staff member at the facility to request cancellation. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as the cancellation is processed.

  • es. Memberships can be suspended via the app. A one-off $5 suspension fee applies. The minimum suspension is 2 weeks and the maximum is 28 days.

  • Yes. All billing details, scheduled payments, and payment history can be viewed in the app.

    • Tap Buy Membership on the Home Screen.

    • Tap on your name and confirm your chosen centre.

    • Choose your payment option (direct debit or upfront).

    • Select your membership type from the dropdown menu.

    • Tap Create a New Payment Method and confirm your details.

    • Review and tick the Terms and Conditions box, then tap Confirm Booking.
